The influence of intrinsic motivational forces on consumers' product purchase intentions

چکیده

Food is perceived as the top most surviving need of humans since their existence. With passage time, this has been further revolutionized with added requirements safety and hygienic factors. Halal food having both these factors, gained popularity among Muslims non-Muslims consumers. Despite ever increasing trend consumption, research to uncap amazingly growing sector still in its infancy stages. Interestingly, role intrinsic motivation shaping up intention consumers for purchase not well explored. This study addressed untapped area build better understanding using Self-Determination Theory (SDT) , from domain psychology which addresses psychological needs autonomy, competence relatedness. SDT well-designed conceptual framework tried highlight intention. Whereby, freedom choose a product referred individuals' autonomy while knowledge capability buy termed . Whereas, relatedness precisely talks about social bonding individuals through feelings care others any environmental setting. Henceforth, first time ever, used explore impact on intentions, whereby anatomy, competence, thoroughly providing an opportunity analyze shaped intentions behaviors, respectively. Lastly, important implications future recommendations are also discussed study.
